About the artist: Charlesanne was raised by three generations of insane women who all worked in the Theatre. Her great-grandmother was a seamstress for an opera company and filled volumes of Shakespeare books with her own notes. Her grandmother writes critiques of her daughter's and granddaughter's performances on the playbill during the show. Her mother is an actress in Austin and cast Charlesanne in her very first role at the tender age of two, as a bear trainer in a vaudeville/melodrama.

She has a BA in Art History and Theatre from the University of Houston. She paints, carves, dances, and wants to learn how to design web sites. Right now she works at a job she hates, so if you would like to hire her as your personal assistant or sassy secretary please contact IBP.

She was nominated as one of Houston's Best Actresses by the Houston Chronicle in 2005.
