About the artist: Colorful, strong and serene is the work of artist Lilibeth Andre.

A representational and impressionist artist, her work includes portraits, figures, landscapes, wildlife, and still life. Her medium is primarily oil, acrylic, colored pencil and watercolor.

She has a technical design background incorporating art studies. She participated in her first art exhibition in Mexico City, in 1980.

She has continued her studies with local and national artists, and her work is in private collections in Mexico and the USA. She has lived in Houston since 1992, where she has been an active member of the Houston Civic Arts Association since that time. She belongs to Artist-at-Large, the Portrait Society of America, is the former president of the Colored Pencil Society in Houston, and is a new member of the Guiton Artists, in the Galleria area.
