About the artist:

Stephanie Gonzalez creates abstract paintings that build on her creativity with each stroke of a brush. She started painting at the age of 14 and spent many years learning under her grandfather who is also a painter. She paints on anything she can get her hands on and uses mixed media to achieve paintings that reflects her emotions. She has exhibited her work in various galleries around Houston and South Texas. In her work Stephanie often uses contemporary ideas and uses aerosol paint, acrylics, watercolors, oil pastels, markers, and crayons. Working at a photography studio she also enjoys taking portraits and street skateboarding. “When I paint, I paint an emotion that I just cannot express any other way” -stephanie gonzalez
