Generations of Houstonians have enjoyed bringing their families to Hermann Park for some of the city's best theater, music, dance and multicultural performances and festivals. And, the best part - these performances are always free. Check the Web site for a schedule of daytime and evening performances. Pack a picnic basket with fried chicken or caviar, bring a blanket or lawn chair, or sit in one of the 1,700 new seats that have just been installed under the canopy.
