    Take the perfect location. add one part lounge, two parts nightclub, a sprinkle of chill and a splash of vegas. what do you get? Ei8ht. The new hangout opened it's doors on the Washington corridor, proving a standout amid the swath of bars, clubs and swanky restaurants that also call this strip home. one of these things is not like the others though, and Ei8ht mixes the best of all three.

    Swing by after sundown on a week day and revel in happy hour on the large outdoor patio with a cold drink in hand, like the mango mojito, which muddles fresh mango and sharp spearmint. texas-sized tapas, served 'til late evening, are a delish way to get a bite of everything. don't be shy, order the tuna nachos, with corn chips beneath a heap of sushi-grade ahi tuna, avocado, marinated cucumber and served with a crisp ginger dipping sauce. if you're feeling frisky after dark, don your sexiest nighttime duds and hit ei8ht on friday and saturday, when a DJ reigns over crowds of hundreds. reserve a table behind velvet ropes and curtains will give you the best seat for spotting the beautiful people. if they don't spot you first, that is. before the tootsies get too sore from dancing, sneak off for a rendezvous on the rooftop bar, where the views of downtown stretch as far as your eyes can see.
