    The Doshi House Studio and Coffeehouse facility is located in the heart of historic Third Ward district. The crossing intersection of Holman and Dowling St. caters to the entire community of greater Third Ward old and new alike.

    The Doshi House get’s its name from the idea, that just like at the Doshi's house; we encourage expression of art and culture while enjoying good vegetarian tastes from around the world. The Doshi House will surround itself by people and organizations, whom understand the ideology of preserving culture along side of healthy economic development.

    The Studio/Gallery space will embrace the original 1940's building, while the expansion of the coffeehouse will be built with unique characteristics showcasing the Houston downtown skyline from its Rooftop terrace. The Doshi House will serve the community as a familiar place to gather for all likes of people.

    Initially we will open only as an art gallery/studio in fall 2010, while developing plans for the expansion of the coffeehouse.

    The expression bricks will allow you to be a part of the uplifting experience in bringing this vision to life while rebuilding the Third Ward Community; So make sure you ask about the expression bricks!
