    Come experience your very own African safari at Bayou Wildlife Park in Alvin, Texas.

    An adventure-filled tram ride with experienced wildlife guides will take you over 80 acres of natural habitat. We have alligator ponds and three monkey islands. See and feed animals and birds from Africa, India, Asia, Australia, and North and South America. Pony rides and a petting zoo are also available for the kids.

    Clint Wolston has been developing his private animal reserve for 30 years. It is now an outstanding park populated by free roaming birds and animals from the far corners of the world.

    "Developing the park and obtaining the animals has been an exciting and educational experience," says Wolston. "By living with the animals for the past 30 years, I've learned things not found in many books."

    Clint invites everyone to share his animal paradise and tour the premises on specially built trams. The trip takes you over the 80 acres of prairie and woods and the guide delivers an exciting and interesting talk while you feed the animals. There are 50 species of animals and birds totaling 500 in number. Most animals and birds run free in the park. New animals are added periodically.

    Endangered species in the park include:
    Bantang Cattle
    White Rhino
    Gaur Cattle
    Barasinga Deer
    Ring Tail Lemur
    Bactrian Camel
    Pere David Deer
    Addax
    Scimitar Horned Oryx
    Hog Deer
    Nile Lechwe

        Hours: Open All Year March-August: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM, August-February: 10:00 AM-3:00 PM. Open all Holidays except Christmas & Easter Sunday. Closed Mondays and open only on weekends between August-February. Pony rides available anytime March-July.
