The Arts Alliance Center at Clear Lake

Located in Nassau Bay, this two-story art gallery is the venue for exhibits, festivals, auctions, special events, and a multitude of art classes taught by some of Bay Area Houston's most noted art instructors.

    UPDATE JUNE 18, 2012:

The Arts Alliance Center at Clear Lake will be vacating its longtime location at 2000 NASA Parkway in Nassau Bay at the end of June and take the summer months to fine-tune its strategy to better accomplish its mission of bringing arts and the community together.

“TAACCL’s new vision, entitled Destination…Art! is to make art a vital part of the community's economic well-being and vibrancy through connection, education and celebration of art,” said Dion McInnis, president of the Arts Alliance Board of Directors.

“We envision making Destination…Art! a ‘brand’ that many arts organizations in the community can tap into to and create greater visibility for Bay Area overall.”

TAACCL intends to be selective regarding the location of its future home, he added.

“We want to get the right place that allows us to offer classes on-site, as well as at partners’ locations, and offers a venue for us to continue our new and successful Brown Bag luncheons,” he said.

TAACCL has assembled a team of board members and others who are actively looking at new options for a more goal-specific venue. “We are searching for a first class location with space for classrooms and meetings,” said longtime former board member Sue Garman. “We want everyone to know that TAACCL continues despite these changes.

“Although the Arts Alliance is sad to be leaving its current location, it is looking forward to a new and revitalized organization to return to a vibrant art community in Clear Lake. We thank you for understanding and for your continued support of TAACCL. For more information, visit www.taaccl.org
